I am a Wisconsin based interior designer with a passion for designing warm and welcoming spaces. My love of wood, metal, and brass comes through in all of my design projects. I am most inspired by West Coast and mid-century details, but I also covet new and challenging work that keeps my style fresh and ever evolving. I also have a passion for chocolate but that's neither here nor there.
I grew up in a small town in southwest Wisconsin, known for the beautiful rolling bluffs and commonly referred to as the Driftless Area. Being a kid in the 90s, it was a thrill to explore the outdoors and travel around the country in the family station wagon. This gave my brothers and me the freedom to deeply discover our creative sides and focus on the arts all while being home schooled by our active musical theater parents.
After high school, I knew I wanted to pursue my dancing education and later graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Dance and Social Work degree. During my social work career, I realized that creating interior spaces was my passion and ultimately made the decision to return to school and further my design education.
During my upbringing, I witnessed my parent’s rental business grow into a thriving and highly sought after getaway with national and international acclaim. I took the opportunity to design the next cabin and used a modern cottage style to design what is now called the “Woodland House”.
My love of natural textures, neutral palettes with pops of color and pattern, light filled rooms, and touches of California-Cool are all characteristics of my design and fashion style.
I currently live in Madison, Wisconsin with my husband Seth and two furry cats Clive and Basil.
